Ever since reading Jonathan Safran Foer's "We Are the Weather" I've only been interested in painting the weather. From the Sausalito fog to rainclouds in the desert, to this rainy day at Cavallo Point. I enjoyed developing the interplay of shiny sun shadows, rainbow and rain in this piece. Expect to see more weather from me in the future.
