After years of running a successful art gallery, I'm hitting the pause button to focus on what matters most to me: painting. As a one-woman show, managing the day-to-day operations of the gallery took up most of my time and my own painting practice fell by the wayside. But with just a year left on my lease, I've realized that I need to prioritize my passion and get back to creating art that truly speaks to me.
My gallery was always intended to be a space for community and connection, a place where newbies could dip their toes into the art world and begin their own personal creative journey. But as the world changed in 2020 and beyond, I found myself focusing more on marketing and selling art gifts than on nurturing that sense of community.
Now, in 2023, I'm excited to be refocusing my efforts on what inspired me to open the gallery in the first place. My new paintings are breaking ground for me and I'm thrilled to be able to share them with you. I'll be painting every day, spending time with friends and family, and paring down the gift offerings in the gallery to make room for more of my own work.
So, if you're looking to see what I'm up to, sign up for my newsletter to get updates on my latest creations and upcoming party on March 29. I'm excited to continue this journey with you all!
